Field Studios grew out of years of immersive, hands-on work on-site, where we not only collaborated with but actively trained a new generation of skilled craftspeople. Over time, through various projects, we assembled a dedicated team of these trained professionals, specializing in handcrafted architectural finishes and carpentry.

As an extension of our architectural practice, Field Architects, Field Studios is committed to the on-site execution of meticulously designed spaces. It embodies our deep-rooted belief in the value of craftsmanship and the synergy between design and making.Based in a purpose-built workshop, Field Studios houses a fully equipped carpentry facility along with a dedicated wing for fine ironmongery. In addition to producing furniture and everyday objects in wood and metal, the studio takes on architectural commissions—ranging from structural timber framing to handcrafted finishes using materials like earth, lime, and cement.
